Notice the difference in the presentation of a page that has pictures verses one that doesn’t have pictures. Many pages do not need pictures, but pictures do help make reading - so much more enjoyable!
Please Note: A definition of a “page design” would be, when printed, it would fit on an 8x10 piece of paper or less, and usually covers one main subject topic. This is so that my time in designing a page is not “abused” by those who would gladly add all categories to one page to save on additional page fees. More often than not, an additional page, such as an About Me Page, Product Page or an Informational Page, will be found higher on a search engine list than the homepage itself. So, if you can afford to add more pages with more information for your visitors, it will greatly aid in being found in the search engines. Having more pages helps quicken page downloads by dispersing the information; it also helps to make a website visit much more enjoyable!
